Queer Faith

If you find yourself at the intersection of queer identity and religious identity, Queer Faith is a support group for you!

If you are closeted and exploring sexuality and/or gender identity or you are out and proud, you are welcome. If you are an active member of a religious community or you were raised religious but no longer align with it, you are welcome.

We have found that few people really understand what it means to be religious and queer unless you have lived it, so come and join other folks who "get it" for conversation and community building.

Montreat College Conference

What does joy have to do with being a person of faith? What about the times when finding joy feels really hard? Join us for the 2026 College Conference at Montreat as we explore these questions and more.

College Conference @ Montreat invites college-aged young adults to spend three days in the mountains of Western North Carolina nurturing their faith and connecting with others as they engage in worship, recreation, and critical conversations. This conference welcomes all to know and experience God’s word more fully, regardless of each person’s religious affiliation, area of study, or where they might be on their spiritual journey.

Fall Retreat

Fall Retreat

  • The Mountain Retreat & Learning Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Registration is Open!

Join The Table for our fall retreat to Highlands, NC, as we explore "The Empire of God." ⛰️ In a world of stark political divides and unsettling news, it’s easy to feel lost and disoriented. We've seen how empires, whether ancient or modern, are built on the principles of sovereignty, hierarchy, and justice that often serve a select few.

This retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise and rediscover a more faithful vision. We'll explore Jesus's teachings on the Kingdom of God—or as some scholars call it, the "Empire of God"—as a radical alternative to the world's way of doing things. We'll discuss how this "empire" is not a political party or a human government, but a divine movement that offers a different path to peace, a new kind of power, and a more expansive definition of justice.

In light of the complex and challenging context of the current Trump administration, we’ll ask what it truly means to follow Jesus and build God’s Kingdom here on earth. Come ready to challenge your assumptions, deepen your faith, and find hope in the truth that God’s empire is already at hand.

What to Expect

  • Deepen your understanding: Engage with scripture and theology in a way that’s relevant to the issues we face today.

  • Find community: Connect with fellow travelers on the journey, sharing stories and building relationships in a beautiful, natural setting.

  • Rest and reflection: Enjoy the serene beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with plenty of time for personal reflection, hiking, and quiet contemplation.

Cost

  • $125 General Registration fee

  • $100 Freshman Discount

  • Pay What You Can: we don’t want money to be a reason you don’t participate, so ‘pay what you can’ is always an option for Table Retreats. Learn more and register below:

Celebrating 85 Years of Ministry

Join us for drinks, dinner, and some great student storytelling, all in support of the ministry of The Table: an inclusive Christian campus ministry at UGA.

The Homecoming Dinner is an opportunity for alumni to come back home, for families of students to meet their faith community, and for supporters of the ministry to get caught up with all good news that God continues to make real in this place and in the lives of these amazing young people.

Homecoming Dinner also kicks off The Table’s Fall fundraising campaign. This year will include a silent auction and matching grant challenge, so come prepared to be invited into the generosity that helps us build an even longer table for every beloved student who finds their home here.
