  • Rev. Will Norman

    Rev. Will Norman (He/Him)

    EXECUTIVE CAMPUS MINISTER | PC(USA)

    A native Georgian, lifelong Presbyterian, and father of two, Rev. Norman has served Christ's church for over 20 years. From youth ministry, to worship, music, and arts, to solo pastor, to campus minister, Will’s ministry is a journey that he is grateful to share with each and every student who comes to The Table!

     “Campus ministry is a kind of first love of mine. It is an incredible privilege to be invited into the lives of students as they journey through one of the most challenging and rewarding seasons of the life of faith. I will never take it for granted.”

    Rev. Haley Lerner (She/Her)

    CAMPUS MINISTER | UCC

    Haley grew up in the Philadelphia area but has called Georgia home since moving here in 2016. She graduated from Candler School of Theology at Emory University with her Master of Divinity in and is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. She has served on staff with the Table since 2019 and is particularly passionate about advocating for young leaders & LGBTQ+ inclusion in the Church. In her spare time, she loves tap dancing, lifting weights, and listening to Taylor Swift. She and her wife, Darya, live in Winterville with their four cats and two dogs.

    Meg Rooney (She/Her)

    MINISTRY ASSOCIATE I CBF

    Growing up in Richmond, Virginia, Meg found herself in Athens after receiving her Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2022. Meg is a life-long Baptist and recently ordained minister in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. A second-year PhD student at the University of Georgia’s Department of Religion, Meg is passionate about Baptist history and identity, women’s studies, and rhetorical studies. Throughout her ministry, Meg has served in several capacities for Passport Camps, CBF Georgia, CBF Virginia, and CBF Global, from communications and event coordination to pastoral care. 

    Meg lives in Athens with her fiancé, Barron, and dog, Bonnie. When she is not reading or writing, you can find her working on house renovations, doing hot yoga at Shakti, or watching college sports!
